The Real Reason Ron Paul Was Excluded...

Edward Failor, who is Executive Vice President of Iowans For Tax Relief - the group which excluded Ron Paul from their debates - has a sordid history...

According to Mike Rivero's www.whatreallyhappened.com, Ed Failor donated money to the McCain For President campaign to the tune of over $1200. Failor is also listed on the McCain website as a "senior advisor" to the campaign in Iowa (http://iowa.johnmccain.com/Content/Default.aspx? area=Committee&PageName=State+Committee).

In fact, Mr. Failor's current resume' reads like a "who's who" of neo-con inside jobs. He was instrumental in getting GW Bush the Iowa vote too...

United States Orders Concentration Camps Built To Hold Over 400,000

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1014.htm

by Sorcha Faal

The fears of President Putin that the United States has become like
'Hitler's Germany' appears to be a stark reality today as the United States
is preparing to pass new laws that call for the building of massive
concentration camps ordered by their War Leaders to be able to hold over
400,000 human beings.

Buried within one of the largest pieces of legislation in United States
history, known as the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006, and
which US Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott described as being 'longer than the
Bible', is the horrific provision ordering the construction of 'at least 20
detention facilities in the United States' to hold 'not less than 20,000
individuals', bringing the total capacity of these new concentration camps
to over 400,000 people. [SEC. 233. INCREASE OF FEDERAL DETENTION SPACE AND
THE UTILIZATION OF FACILITIES IDENTIFIED FOR CLOSURES AS A RESULT OF THE
DEFENSE BASE CLOSURE REALIGNMENT ACT OF 1990. (a) Construction or
Acquisition of Detention Facilities-]

Kremlin legal experts familiar with American law further point out that
these new concentration camps are not for the estimated 11 million Mexicans
currently living illegally in the United States as these new laws forbid
their detention, and as we can read from this law itself:

"Beginning on October 1, 2007, an alien (other than a national of Mexico)
who is attempting to illegally enter the United States and who is
apprehended at a United States port of entry or along the international land
and maritime border of the United States shall be detained until removed or
a final decision granting admission has been determined." SEC. 131.
MANDATORY DETENTION FOR ALIENS APPREHENDED AT OR BETWEEN PORTS OF ENTRY.

To the grave dangers facing the American people, and who are the undoubted
future prisoners of these new concentration camps, many American writers
have sounded their warnings, such as Paul Craig Roberts, and who has
written:

"President Bush claims the power to set aside habeas corpus and to dispense
with warrants for arrest and with procedures that guarantee court appearance
and trial without undue delay. Today in the US, the executive branch claims
the power to arrest a citizen on its own initiative and hold the citizen
indefinitely. Thus, Americans are no longer protected from arbitrary arrest
and indefinite detention.

These new "seize and hold" powers strip the accused of the protective
aspects of law and give reign to selectivity and arbitrariness. No warrant
is required for arrest, no charges have to be presented before a judge, and
no case has to be put before a jury. As the police are unaccountable,
whoever is selected for arrest is at the mercy of arbitrariness."

To the type of treatment the American people should expect to receive at the
hands of their brutal interrogators in these new concentration camps,
likewise, they have been warned about, and as the New York Times News
Service has detailed how the United States is now utilizing the horrific
torture methods once used by the dreaded Soviet KGB, and as we can read:

"How did the United States, in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, come to
adopt interrogation techniques copied from the Soviet Union and other cold
war adversaries?

Investigators for the Senate Armed Services Committee are examining how the
methods, long used to train Americans for what they may face as prisoners of
war, became the basis for American interrogations.

In 2002, the C.I.A. and the Pentagon became concerned that standard
questioning was inadequate for suspected terrorists and turned to a military
training program called Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape, or SERE.
For decades, SERE trainers had exposed aviators and others at high risk for
capture to Soviet-style tactics, including disrupted sleep, exposure to
extreme heat and cold, and hours in uncomfortable stress positions.
Sometimes the ordeal included waterboarding, in which a prisoner's face is
covered with cloth and water is poured from above to create a feeling of
suffocation.

Some of those techniques have been used on prisoners at Guantánamo Bay and
in Afghanistan and Iraq, and at the C.I.A.'s secret overseas jails for
high-level operatives of Al Qaeda.

Many SERE veterans were appalled at the "reverse engineering" of their
methods, said Charles A. Morgan III, a Yale psychiatrist who has worked
closely with SERE trainers for a decade.

"How did something used as an example of what an unethical government would
do become something we do?" he asked.

His question is only underscored by a 1956 article, "Communist
Interrogation," in The Archives of Neurology and Psychiatry, recently turned
up by the Intelligence Science Board, which advises the spy agencies.
Written by doctors working as Defense Department consultants, Lawrence E.
Hinkle Jr. and Harold G. Wolff, the article shows that methods embraced
after 2001 were once considered torture that would produce false
information."

By all news accounts coming from within the growing totalitarian American
Nation, there does not appear to be any awareness of this new danger facing
them.

And, while believing they are living the 'American Dream', they will soon be
rudely awaken, just like the German peoples of last centuries Nazi Regime,
into a nightmare of what they have truly become. But, and most sadly, their
full, and final, realization of this nightmare will only be realized as they
are led into these camps to disappear from the Earth forever.

Ron Paul Excluded From Iowa Debates

http://blog.ronpaul2008.com/ron_paul_2008/2007/06/ron_paul_exclud.html

Ron Paul Excluded in Iowa
Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance will host a presidential candidates forum on Saturday, June 30th in Des Moines. Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo will participate.

Ron Paul, however, will not participate. Why? Because he wasn't invited.

We heard about this forum from numerous supporters in Iowa who asked why Dr. Paul was not going to participate. Those supporters assumed that Dr. Paul was invited.

The campaign office had not received an invitation so we called this morning; thinking we might have misplaced the invitation or simply overlooked it. Lew Moore, our campaign manager, called Mr. Edward Failor, an officer of Iowans for Tax Relief, to ask about it. To our shock, Mr. Failor told us Dr. Paul was not invited; he was not going to be invited; and he would not be allowed to participate. And when asked why, Mr. Failor refused to explain. The call ended.

Lew then called Mr. Steve Scheffler, president of the Iowa Christian Alliance, to talk with him. Mr. Scheffler did not answer so Lew left a message. He has yet to respond.

Why are the Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Christian Alliance excluding the one Republican candidate who scored at the top of every online poll taken after the MSNBC, Fox News, and CNN debates? Why are they denying Iowans the opportunity to hear from the Republican presidential candidate whose popularity is growing by the day?

We couldn't get answers to these questions from Messrs. Failor and Scheffler. Maybe you'll have better luck. Their contact information is below.

It's ironic that on the same day we learned the Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Christian Alliance excluded Dr. Paul from their candidates forum, we received a call from ABC News confirming Dr. Paul's participation in its nationally broadcast August 5th debate to be held in Des Moines.

The Truth About Mitt Romney

So...you're looking at the Republic Primaries and wondering about this Mormon guy Mitt Romney, who's running for the Prez nomination. Or maybe you're a Utahn who thinks he's the savior of the 2002 Olympics and obviously on your team. Either way, you'll want to read these quotes and maybe think about it...

Position: Abortion
"I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position wen she ran in 1970 as a U.S. Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support it." --1994 Senatorial Debate vs. Ted Kennedy

Position: Gun Control
"Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people." --Governor Mitt Romney, July 1, 2004, after signing a law banning assault weapons in Massachusetts

Being the RINO (Republican In Name Only) that he is, and having waffled on several important issues to Republicans (his website has plenty of issues on which he explains why his stance has changed), how can any honest Republican really support him as a candidate? He's as wishy-washy as the Clintons!
